I heard the Capron Podologie company is a stand holder at IVO2012. I met these guys in Den Hague and eventually bought a Feet Print insole making system. It's been very successful way of custom making insoles.

I just heard from Ernesto Castro CPed (USA) some details about his presentation at the IVO2012. The focus will be on the treatment of the diabetic foot for the Native American population. This will be interesting to compare with the presentation about the diabetic foot from Dr. L.K Shankhdhar from India at the IVO2012.

I would like to invite you to attend the IVO2012.

This international congress has many presenters from different countries talking about foot health. Most notably will be the presentations on proprioception, sensomotoric treatments presented by Dr. Laube, Dr. Bernius and Lothar Jahrling. Dr. Bernius, a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon and Lothar Jahrling will present a work shop on neurological paediatrics and what can be done in hands on way.
I am looking forward to seeing you at the IVO2012

    Can't wait!
I'd like to see some visits to Pedorthic Clinics and labs either before or after the IVO World Congress. Anything happening on this?

Yes, there was a request for this also from the Canadian IVO delegates. Therefore we will have an open day on Sunday April 1st at the ShoeTech Pty Ltd Footpower Pedorthic clinic, for IVO2012 delegates (bring your IVO2012 congress name tag). We will organise a Bus and that will leave from outside the Congress Venue at 10:00 and will bring delegates back to the city at about 13:00

Organizing a Bus, nice touch for OS guests Karl.

What are the costs Karl, do we need to book for it?

  17. footpower

    footpower Active Member

This is cost neutral for those who attended the IVO2012, therefore bring your name tag. This is open to all that attend the IVO 2012 not just to those that are from overseas. The bus will have a seating capacity of just over 40, there are no reservations taken. First in best seated. If you miss out on the bus, you can make your own way to the venue. We will announce details during the IVO 2012.

Despite the "Bookings now closed" you can still book both now and on the day of registration for IVO 2012, it just costs you a tiny bit more.

However, not a lot of seats left for the IVO 2012 Dinner, so if you wish to join us for that Gala dinner, you better be quick getting onto that one!
