Jones Fracture but painless... heal time?

    I fell yesterday. I thought it was just a simple sprain at worst because the pain wasn't bad at all. I mean, I can't put any weight on it without pain, but there's no constant pain or discomfort.
    Today I went in and the doctor said it was a Jones fracture and I would have to get a cast, not even a boot. I don't understand how it can be that bad when I literally am feeling no pain.

    I'm a college student. I work and go to school full time, I'm about to graduate with 2 degrees, I have to...
