Hello. I am new to this forum and am looking for guidance on deciding on surgery for what is believed to be a lipoma on bottom of big toe joint on right foot.
It is mostly painless and not noticeable when wearing shoes. It measures roughly 1 inch x 1 inch x inch.
It is bothersome walking on bare feet or with shoes that do not have a cushioning sole which I think the lipoma is pushing up against the bone.
I gave seen a podiatrist and he laid out a plan for MRI then surgery. But its up to me if I want surgery. He says it's a pretty good sized one.
Can I live with it? Yes. Would I like to have it removed? Also yes as I am concerned it might cause greater issues down the road.
They said the procedures will surely use up all my $6,000 deductible.

    Any advice? Thanks in advance.
