Hey friends..... and a special welcome to any podiatrists that ride a Harley Davidson motorcycle...

After being on this forum for only a few weeks I realise now that technology is growing at an exponential rate....

I have been in private employ now for 28 years, however, with the passing of time , life is more confusing..

does anyone remember a simple time when a job was a job. and you stuck at it for years,?? You did not need to jump through hoops to prove yourself ? You could rest on your knowledge? And it was ok to make mistakes !!!!!!
It seems in this "modern" age , that we are all almost required to be allied health automotons....

Ive had more fun here in the last few weeks chatting with colleagues that i have never met than i had when i was a teenager..

Thanks to you all for making me , a fat old tattooed, harley davidson riding podiatrist , welcome....

A bit mushy ....but who cares......

    FDCB

Do any of the following apply to you yet?

Do you check it first thing in the morning to see if anthing good happens overnight?

Have any family members yet used the phrase "you're not on that bloody forum AGAIN are you?"

If this is not yet you then flee. FLEE BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!!!!!

And the sad thing is, you may not have hit any of the legendary threads yet...

  7. as a warning to those with PAAS Podiatry Arena Addiction Syndrome, never leave your android/smart phone at the cabin, which you will not be back too for 2 weeks.

You will understand how many sneaking looks you take and how the intervention maybe a good thing.

  8. Actually thats a thought. Its been ages since we had a caption competition... I think "willy gum" was the last one.

I know when I'm really addicted when I get irritated that I keep having to scroll to the top of the page to hit the new posts button. I'm desperate for a shortcut.

How do you all know this about me ????? My goodness, is there a podiatricforum anonymous meeting I could attend somewhere ??

"Hi , Im footdrcb , and it has been three weeks since I had my last forum hit"

    Cheer from the crowd....

I start crying as I say , " I sat on the forum with RobinP and Rob for 13 hours the other day , and it occoured to me that "they" might have a problem" LOL

Yes I too remember that time, but medicolegal, research and new innovations move on at a sometimes scary pase. Our job is merely to try and keep upto date to protect ourselves as well as hopefully keep providing the best service we possibly can for our patients/clients
anyway, welcome to Podiatry Areana, it can be an informative and at times very funny place to be
Remember, no matter what ....keep your sense of humour :bash:
