    Just had a discussion with the good wife ..... first I got her to accept that evidence based practice is the best way to do things. I then pointed her to this research:

    Divorce risk for couples sharing housework
    ...so the evidence is that you are less likely to get divorced if the woman does all the housework! .. and we all believe in evidence based practice don't we?

    Ah, but is that a correlation or a causal link?

    Good teaching example!

  4. I do wonder if Craig was introduced to a practical demonstration of Physics after this EB discussion

    Force = mass * acceleration

    No fighting about cleaning anymore. Women are God's gift to men, treat them as queens.

    I think the views of Mrs Cochrane would be most illuminating on all levels ( pun intended).

    I make you right Craig, after nearly 45 years of marriage to the same lady who being female and nature would dictate looks after the home and the family, who am I to interfere in her domain?

    I don't know how vacuum cleaners or washing machines work and I wouldn't want to interrupt her valuable cleaning time she has before and after her full time work by asking her.

    Works for me:drinks

    Cheers
    D;)

    BTW Isaacs don't you even think of making public your housewifely duties and spoil it for the rest of us !!!:D
