For those of you who may be interested, there is a new and unique call-in live interview and discussion event occurring within podiatry here in the USA on a weekly basis. It is called "Meet the Masters" and is hosted by Bret Ribotsky, DPM, who is a well-known podiatrist here in the USA.

What Dr. Ribotsky has been able to do with this "Meet the Masters" program is to invite some very well-known podiatrists to spend an hour talking with him about their careers, their experiences and about the podiatry profession in general. The amazing fact about this service is that anyone can call in and listen to the interview, live, on every Tuesday at 9:00 PM Eastern Standard Time for no cost, other than your phone connection charges. You must first sign in at this website at http://www.podiatricsuccess.com/ and then you may call in at the appointed time to listen to the interview-discussion. After listening to a few of these interviews myself, I have found them all very interesting and informative.

Podiatrists that have been interviewed for Dr. Ribotsky's "Meet the Masters" includes Drs. Lowell Scott Weil, Barry Block, Stanley Kalish, Ron Lepow, Ross Taubman, Steve Subotnick, David Armstrong, Warren Joseph, Guido Laporta, Adam Landsman, and Larry Harkless. If you miss the phone-in interview, then you can still download the interviews at Dr. Ribotsky's "Meet the Masters" website to listen to at your own convenience.

This is one of those events that has been made available to the international podiatry profession which, I think, is very worthwhile for nearly every podiatrist to consider participating in since it brings us all the thoughts and emotions of those podiatrists who truly are the leaders within our profession.

  2. For those of you who are interested, I will be interviewed tommorrow by Bret Ribotsky, DPM, at 6:00 PM Pacific Standard time on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, for the Meet the Masters program. Additionallly or alternatively, you can send questions that you may want to be asked during the interview by sending an e-mail to me (kevinakirby@comcast.net) or Bret (ribotsky@yahoo.com) before the interview tomorrow for inclusion in the program. Should be interesting.:rolleyes:

Got to ask the question 'Who defines the 'Master' status?'
This time of labeling does lend significant credibility and could be open to abuse!

  5. Bret Ribotsky pretty much decides who will be interviewed. It is his show.
