So a quite arvo getting ready to fly to London for Teds FMT course on monday.

Watching the reports that all airports in Sweden and Denmark are closed today as well because of the ash cloud from a volcano in Iceland blew it´s top.

Anyway the building next store to the clinic has been getting some work done on the basement space. Today 3 taxi roll up out get 6-7 females with some of the longest legs seen, with not much else left to the imagination and guys with camera, camera lights etc

So I think to myself "hello whats going on here". Well I just found out my new folks next door have opened an aerobic studio. Not just any aerobics mind.

    Stripper aerobics
    - Pole
    - Floor
    - Umbrella
    - and chair apparently well thats what the sign says

    Just thought I would share

Weird?......weird that they don't have step aerobics but seems perfectly normal to me

  3. Are vou looking for any partners? On a serious note, there were some spectacular photos of the ash cloud over Bergen yesterday - are you experiencing any similar in Sweden? Now reporting that there has been some significant tremors around Katla. This could get very interesting..... http://www2.norvol.hi.is/page/ies_Eyjafjallajokull_eruption

  4. Hi Mark, some white clouds and blue sky thats the weird thing. It also rained this morning but clear rain so there seems little ash above Stockholm, just no flights until 13.00 tomorrow at the earliest. It not looking good for the FMT course, plus I have closed the clinic for 3 days

    Hopefully things look up tomorrow

  5. You'll just have to take yourself down to the aerobics studio then and have a look at rotational equilibrium in action around the pole. That should get things looking up again, Mike.....

  6. Brilliant, maybe I can do a quick research paper.

"The effect of Pole dancing in 6 inch heels has on rotational equilibrium and leg stiffness in 20 something Swedish females"

    or something like that.

I should get a research proposal ready for the 4 months pregnant wife wish me luck.

  7. I read somewhere that in Norway, after they started taxing alcohol at stratospheric levels, the number of pregnancies during the Scandanavian winters nearly doubled within two years. Will send you some Johnie Walker next November......

  8. It happens quite alot after record snow storms as well. In 1999 in a place called Gävle 1-2 of snow feel in 72 hours, very windy. People had to dig their front doors out to open them. Ie jump from a 2nd floor window. 9 months later baby boom in Gävle. Be intersting to see the U.K birth rates later this year, early next.

ps a bit of non-peaty single malt man myself.

  9. The Macallan man myself. No water, thanks.

  10. Nice. If you are ever in Skye try and visit the distillery in Carbost - worth a trip. And it's only 20 mins from the Three Chimney's Restaurant. As it's now past six o'clock there's three fingers of Ardbeg Very Young just been sent on its way south...

BTW Nice radar photo of the crater in Iceland....sure I can recognise someone's face here....;)

  11. So spent the day looking at Arlanda (swedish airport) and Heathrow websites not good news so far.

"Ethics" gave me the thumbs down on the research project. Too much researcher basis apparently. Also "ethics" thought that if there is no flights and the clinic is closed the cabin renovations might just be a good way to fill in the days.

Heres some Iceland volcano news....... John Cleese was in Oslo for an interview and need to be in Belgium a day later ... No flights take a cab 30 000 Norwegian Korna about 5000 pounds.

Also apparently there is a rumour that Iceland started the erruptions as a protest against the IMF and European countries telling them they need to start paying their debts..If we have to pay you have to as well. What a great way to stick up the middle finger. Wonder who thought of it, is there an Evil Bob?

  12. Me too!

Couldn't remember where I saw him. Then I recalled it was at one of Craig's boot camps.
