Old horizontal cut under big toe that won't completely heal..

    About 15 month ago I was walking barefoot and jumped onto a board and ended up catching the sharp edge of the board right at the base of my big toe. I had a really nasty cut right where my toe bends. It took a while to heal. I still dealing with a lot of pain and fusteration. The skin is extremely hard dead and dry at that spot. The actual cut healed meaning it's not bleeding or oozing. But the hard dead skin won't fully close, there is a big open crack. I've tried grinding cutting scrubbing...
