I am frequently asked what the best shoes are to put newly walking toddlers into.I am of the opinion that ,these little people should be left barefoot in their homes where the surfaces are clean and safe, and when they are out in parks , shops, etc they should wear shoes. My question is, what shoes then should they wear, should it be leather soft sock type of shoe? Or a firm supportive shoe ie: Elephante or other types of harder leather based shoes? Opinions are welcome. Thank you.
