    Hi All,

I'm a podiatry student graduating this July, and myself and my family are hoping to emigrate to Australia via the 457 sponsored visa asap.

Has anyone recently emigrated, who knows the timescales for getting a 457 visa and registration with ANZPAC.

e.g. If I manage to get a sponsored job, can apply for ANZPAC registration and the 457 visa at the same time? The info I have to date looks like I would have to wait till my degree is confirmed, then apply for registration with ANZPAC (upto 10 weeks) then apply for a visa (8 weeks). Im just concerned that employers won't want to wait 18 weeks.

If anyone has gone through this recently and could give me some advice it would be much appreciated. Many thanks Wendy.
