    Hello,

I have recently had a patient that is about to get started training for marathon/ultra marathon running. He is a forefoot runner and is having a great deal of trouble with fissuring around the 1st MPJ. I have recommended the use of strappel tape and urea based creams. Was there anything else to recommend? Anybody else had any patients with similar issues and what has worked for them.
    Any tips are greatly appreciated
