    Hi Elisa,

    :welcome: to Podiatry Arena. :drinks

I would advise you to contact your chosen university before parting with any money. Some provide a foundation year in addition to the BSc. Podiatry degree.

Much may depend on your existing qualifications & experience. Age is not considered a disadvantage. Certainly many of the students at university studying while I was there were mature students.

The Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists web site may offer some additional guidance.

    The very best of luck.

    Regards,

    Mandy.

If you want to go to uni, I would do the access course first, instead of smae FHP course- although I think that the FHP course would gain you entry to uni it will also cost loads more. Do the access course. I'm sure you will get on 2nd time round. Failing that, are there any A levels you would consider doing instead?

  4. i did contact durham uni... i need the access course or 3 A levels math science etc...And i just didnt want to waste a year doing nothing x so wondered if SMAEwould work as ive heard this is the lesser of the evils of fhp lol.
