After having 2 years experience since graduating and dealing with onychocryptosis regularly I have noticed a slight trend for pregnant women to suffer this problem for the 1st time and throughout the pregnancy.

Has anyone else noticed this or is it just coincedence for me?

Thoughts that come to mind for me is the reduced abilty to effectively self care because of obvious physical limitations, changes in foot function, oedema, shoe fit and other effects systemically of the hormones that are present. Also the added weight of the life within:boxing:!

    What do you think?

    ~Ben.
