    Royal North Shore Hospital is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for the Ambulatory Care Centre. The Operations Manager performs at a strategic, tactical and operational level and will be responsible for ensuring the integration between the redesign and operational management structures.

    Where you'll be working
    The Royal North Shore Hospital Ambulatory Care Centre provides 250,000 outpatient occasions of service annually. It is a multidisciplinary space utilised by allied health, medical, nursing and surgical specialties to provide day only procedures, outpatient appointments, and facilitates patient flow through the emergency dept. to theatres and wards.

    What you'll be doing
    As a senior manager and leader within the organisation you will lead improvement and change, partner with staff and consumers to develop, implement and evaluate processes ensure optimum and efficient operation of the non-admitted clinical services at RNSH. The position is responsible for the superior leadership and management of models of care aligned to an ambulatory and outpatient setting for a variety of clinical specialities.
    The ACC Manager will support the personal and professional development of the Ambulatory Care team by encouraging the involvement of staff in learning and development activities, performance reviews and appraisals. The role requires high level communication skills for developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with stakeholders, i.e. ward teams, demand management teams, clinical staff, management and the information technology department, to meet the needs of the service.
    The Operations Manager must demonstrate the ability to integrate, analyse and present data to inform service delivery and redesign as an essential component of this role.

    Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

    2. Relevant tertiary qualification, such as health administration or clinical professional tertiary level qualification or relevant experience.
    3. Ability to lead teamwork amongst facility staff, including the ability to set goals, foster professional networks and work within a team.
    4. Skills and recent experience in managing organisational change and project management, including the ability to positively influence senior clinical and managerial staff.     5. Understanding of funding and revenue sources and associated systems of revenue management in relation to ambulatory care services.
