Mert Root Fitting Orthoses on Famous Giants Baseball Player

    Jeff Root just sent me this great photo taken of his father, Mert Root, DPM, in about 1967, fitting an orthosis in the San Franciso Giants clubhouse to future Hall of Fame pitcher, Gaylord Perry, who, in my youth, was one of the best pitchers for the Giants. Considering the Giants are now playing in the World Series, I thought this photo might be of interest to many. Great photo Jeff...thanks for sharing!!

  3. Clear acrylic; sexy if a little brittle. Check out the extrinsic forefoot post, I thought it was a crack in the shell at first.

    Interesting, my current approach is to have a longer device around 3to4 mm proximal to the mpts,should i be reconsidering? Barry francis
