Oh dear! I don't know if this has been mentioned here before, but this is the next footwear concept to ingest.

However, if you can bear to read this article, there appears to be one of our own involved in this one........a chap called Dr. Dave Cook, Lecturer in Podiatric Biomechanics in London (a profession which the journalist struggles with accepting actually existed!). Not only that, however, he also apparently has 'buttocks you could bounce a quarter off', which apparently was one of the criteria for getting the job of developing the 'fitflop'.

I haven't looked up any other info on the actual mechanics of the shoe yet, but wondered if anyone knew who Dr. Cook is? Does he have 'buns of steel'? And could he be tempted onto the the forum to talk us through what the fitflop does?!

This of course being the acid test for the efficacy of any scientific concept. How pert the researchers buns are.

    Sigh

After reading this article, I tried this quarter test several times. I do not recommend this unless you have precise aim. I now have 2 dollars that I cannot retrieve and find it very difficult to sit comfortably.

Perhaps wearing the fitflop will help jostle things out......

I'm impressed with your flexibility if you can manage that!
