Pain in middle toe

    About 3 Years ago when out walking I got a sudden sharp shooting pain in my middle toe......it seems to happen as the last toe joint bends when walking. I'd never had it before but had to spend the rest of the walk with my toes curled under which alleviated the pain. Since then the problem has come and gone but of recent it has been happening more and more often and I'm having to walk with my toes curled under. The pain feels internal but I've tried Googleing it to no avail. Anyone got...
