Pain on "pad" of foot beneath toes

    I have had a fairly severe pain on the bottom of my foot. It's on the pad of the foot somewhere near the 3rd or 4th toe. It feels swollen--almost like I'm walking on a balled up kleenex or something. I was squeezing around on it this morning and I can almost feel a small knot between two toes, near the base of the toes.

    I have been reading about Morton's neuroma, but don't know if that's it. I have no tingling or anything like that. I am going to my podiatrist, but they can't get me...
