    Hi there,

I saw a middle aged female patient. She showed me some small darkish blister looking type lesions on her foot. They weren't actually blisters though as they were kind of like raised lumps as well. She advised that they come and go on different areas of the foot. Her GP was not able to diagnose the condition but prescribed her a steroid cream which did not work.

She advised that the keep 'coming and going' and appear on different parts of the foot, the one I saw was on the lateral border.

I have worked through tons of pictures and textbooks as I am intrigued as to what this condition could have been. Just wondering if anyone has come across this before or might have any suggestions as to what it could have been?

    Thanks
    Suzie W

    Dear Suzywuzy,
Difficult to say without seeing. Look up talon noir or calcaneal petechiae and consider typical and atypical positioning. Any photos?
    Best Wishes
