I am undertaking an MSc in Clinical Podiatric Biomechanics, and have reached the research methods module. My research proposal is concerning the possible effects of foot and leg mobilisations, and/or massage upon the incidence of falling in older adults. Does anyone know of literature on this subject (for or against)? I have found one or two papers, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of literature on the subject, especially not literature with clear methodological descriptions of the manual interventions employed.
Thank you in advance for any information.

Thank you for your help Craig. I do indeed have that paper, and now a few others. If any others are found I would be grateful for future reference, but I am now in the position were I must work with what I have to get this module finished. Once again thank you. Ian.
