Hi Everyone, just discovered the arena and joined to contribute to an existing thread that I found interesting, however the administrator had shut it down yesterday : Oh well next time. A Podiatrist form Canada

Threads are always locked for a good reason. I think I know which thread you are talking about - just read Jamies message in that thread. It was lucky that the thread was not deleted the minute it was started, but I let it run.

If it wasn't that thread and was a thread in the Canada forum to do with the Ontairo situation then I have locked a number of those threads and banned several DPM's for being idiots in those threads (those particular messages were deleted, so sometimes it might not be clear why people get banned and threads get locked).

There are plenty of other threads to contribute to.

Hi Admin, thank you for your quick reply and explanation. As a new user I was obviously not aware of some of the history and reasons for your decisions. I felt that I might have had a different perspective to add to the contributors on this thread that was locked, but it had been a very busy time, and so I didn't get to it soon enough.
