    Hi All,

I'm an Australian Podiatrist with a keen interest in Podiatric Surgery.
Currently very competitive here to get into a training position. I have e-mailed a number of Universities in the UK in regards to undertaking the theoretical component, although finding it difficult to ascertain how one gains a surgical mentor / training post in the NHS?

Any thoughts or recommendations from UK podiatric surgeons/ registrars on this forum.

    All the best,

    Spur

Competition is pretty stiff for surgical training places in the UK, maybe you should contact the surgical faculty of the SCP for specific advice
