Part time Podiatrist wanted, either on a permanent PT arrangement or as an ABN contractor. This role can be fully supervised should new graduates wish to apply.

    The Role
We are seeking a part time podiatrist to work independently at two separate clinics based in Brisbane’s south side for 10-16 hours between Wednesday and Friday. Should you be the right candidate for our team, there is scope to negotiate day’s and clinic locations.
You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of MSK disorders of the lower limb in both adult and paediatric populations. You will have sound knowledge of the systemic complications associated with chronic disease and be competent in your assessment skills allowing you to identify and manage risk factors that predispose these client groups to acute foot disease. You will have great communication skills enabling you to discuss all treatment options with clients, to ensure your treatment plan aligns with their goals of care. You will be able to work well with others, engage in interdisciplinary referral and liaise with medical professions in order to communicate your suggestions for further investigation and treatment options that fall outside the professions scope of practice. Administration support is provided.

    About Us
At Moving Forward Podiatry we believe that exemplary healthcare should be provided to all. Moving Forward Podiatry has a very hands-on approach to care. We actively promote the use of foot mobilization, manipulation therapy, and the use of lower limb physical therapy as a first line approach to care (full training can be provided). We also utilise the latest 3D scanning and 3D printed technology for our custom orthotic devices when required.
We currently operate from GP practices in Cannon Hill, Capalaba, Greenslopes, Inala, Nundah and Underwood
Moving Forward Podiatry is undergoing extensive growth and we are looking for a podiatrist who shares our holistic approach to health care, who has the drive to grow our company with us, and who would potentially have the capacity to increase their hours with increased demand.

    Essential criteria:
    ·Tertiary podiatry qualification
    ·Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
    ·Professional indemnity insurance
·Current National Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check
·Ability to work independently at satellite clinics (including drivers licence)
·Ability to manage high caseload, including administrative duties
    ·Excellent communication skills
·Own laptop to allow access to cloud based practice management system
    Non-essential criteria
Korean speaking and female podiatrists will be looked upon favourably due to our work with multi-cultural communities.

    Renumeration:
Will be negotiated at interview but will be between $53,226 - $88,084 and based on industry experience and the potential for growth that your personality can bring to our company.
