Terribly sorry if the advert is unclear, we fully understand that transportation may be an issue for many applicants, hence the "Negotiable" part of the salary. Similarly to this, the salary stated is also an entry salary, which can of course be improved upon. Furthermore, as written in the job description we are not asking for applicants with any experience outside of their degree course, as such we feel that an entry salary of £1800+ for a graduate straight out of university is very fair.

Again as stated in the advertisement all this information is readily available upon request. And if anyone has any further issues that they would like to discuss we would be more than happy to answer any questions.

in kensington i think not starting salary in the nhs is £21200 no saturdays no evenings no selling
to the public, plus pension, plus you can work in a part of the uk without the stratoshperically high living costs. after the congestion charge will the employee have enough left for abag of crisps.and i repeat i pay my cleaner more.dont suppose you hold the works x mas party at the berkley food provided by marcus waring. ps i dont think you will get many applicants.

current median starting salary for uk graduates is £25000 pounds in london its £29000 pounds londons figures sque the figures in the provinces because they go up to £36000 pounds this may have something to do with the fact that london is one of the most expensive places to live on earth.so i verhmently disagree that a paltry 18 grand is fair id say crap money attracts crap applicants and you are trying to get someone on the cheap even if they have no experience.

I feel that it would save us both a lot of time if you would read the application properly. It states very clearly that any successful applicant will be working a 36 hour week, which is a very reasonable amount of hours to work per week; just because the store is open does not mean that the podiatrist will be there at all hours of the day.

We are also a private company, so it would stand to reason that anybody applying to this position is doing so because they wish to gain an insight into the private practice industry. It is here where sales skills are vital and working on weekends is regular practice. Similarly if you were to take the time to enquire further about the position rather than jumping into an offensive position, you would find that as a private company we are willing to offer very competitive and rapid promotional prospects.

By all means, if somebody wishes not to apply for this post they are more than welcome not to. On the other hand, if they wish to apply we are interested in all applicants.

On other matters, I think it best for both parties as well as this forum itself if we are to agree to disagree. Any issues involving pay and hours shall be finalised with the successful applicant, and we are not forcing anybody to apply or accept the job.
    Regards

a bit like working for shuropody then doing biomechanical assesments on people who dont need them . then selling overpriced otc insoles to them . im just guessing the more you sell the bigger your promotion if you sell 10 pairs a day you can become number one shop assistant.

Check NHS Jobs and reflect upon the lack of employment opportunities.

    Band 5

In pp a proportion of billings would usually be added to earnings as an incentive to be more productive.

But i would not have presumed a lack of interest in the post. And the fact that the post has been filled reflects this.

Certainly in Sydney one would expect to earn approx 80k aus dollars pa.:drinks

    regards david

I have been to your store and I am confident that you all specialize in RIPPING OFF people .... good job carry on. by the way in the clinic the guy introduced himself to me and told me that he is a Podiatrist and in the kensington magazine I saw the advert and it says he is NOT a podiatrist but a Foot Health Practitioner. So you are ALL LIARS...

so no surprises 2 years on selling orthotics for 1500 quid a pair employing fhp misrepresenting excellence to the poor dumb public. And you did not recruit a podiatrist. I am sure your vastly experienced fhp has your clients best interests at heart.
