Podiatry Arena Changes and Enhancements

Have the mum-in-law with us at the moment. She is german ... so I showed her the german translation of some of the emglish pages here .... she not impressed :craig: :santa2: :santa:

 

I am getting bored with all the tags (all done except for about half of the General and Biomechanics forum), so installed a modification to allow 'Thanks' to be made for posts.

In each posted message, you will now see a 'Thanks' button. If you find a post useful, just click on the button and your thanks is recorded! .... its a cool mod!

 

Its taken a while ....all threads are now tagged!

 

Had a few hours up my sleeve ... so did some software modification and installed this as an add on to the Who's Online ....notice the flags in the right hand column? Cool? ... it does not work 100% as it uses IP addresses and some global providers like AOL can have UK members showing up with a USA flag, due to the allocation of IP addresses within AOL) .... there seems to be a lot of USA flags there at the moment (it early evening at the moment) and NO UK flags there (it early morning at the moment) .... to see what time it is around the world, see our time clocks.

This is just part of the ongoing enhancements and developments, such as the organisation of the content, the events; the marketplace (still being developed) and the photo gallery (still being developed).

Just installed this cool script: iSpy in which you can get live real time view off what is happening. This is different to the Who's Online.

Now for the next installment. I manage to get a script and instal all on my own and even getting it working all on my own. Its an image resizer. Sometimes when members upload clinical photos they can be so big, that you have to scroll sideways to see it all. What the script does is automatically resizes image attachments to 750px ...

Thanks Paulo ... the options are endless. I have just now added another option under the 'Quick Links' in the top navigation bar. It called 'My Threads' and allows users to find threads they started... I still need to fix the CPD points alignment in the panel above it ... the coding there is a bit more tricky.

Also at the bottom of this page is a list of all websites that people used to find us - it restarts at midnight ... but it looks messy, so will probably uninstall it in a few days .... also the title of that section is in teh worng place and I can not work it out.
