    Hi everyone.
I am looking for a podiatry drill that is suitable for home visits. One that small, light and conforms to AUS/NZ standards. I have not found anything suitable on the market from our suppliers. Does any one know of any other drills available or suppliers?
Many thanks from an avid forum reader and who has only just joined the forum.

    Izzy :)

I have been using Lenson "clean drill" for a few years, it's been fine. I just have it in a plastic box of suitable size and get it out of the car only when I need it

    Greetings,
We have just released a Rechargeable Drill which is ideal for home visits. It is called "THUMB". It delivers 8 hours of running time, and recharges in 5 hours. There is a belt clip and handpiece holder. The handpiece is a slimline, high torque type and the speed and direction can be adjusted. To see this product, and many others, please visit my website at www.podiatrydrills.com.au/portable.html

    Hi

I know DBS medical have a few drills that are light enough for home visits and one has a rechargable battery. The only problem is that they dont have dust extraction which of course would add to the weight and size of the machine.

    Thanks

I use a Dremel type drill.. and have practised a gentle "blow" technique to obviate the lack of dust extraction... the dust goes away from me. But then that's in England.....
