    Interested to hear your thoughts on this Craig.... I see they used computer algorithms to design the sole geometry of this shoe. Do you think this will be the way to go in future for new shoe designs? I personally think we're at the point where computational design will be an important method of designing shoes, and perhaps even for custom orthotics in the long run, given that data (for plantar pressure, joint kinematics, etc) is so much more available, and computer 'learning' abilities are becoming increasingly optimised.

    Of course, the hazard is that with large-scale shoe co's, it has to be a 'one-size-fits-all' approach so the algorithm may produce an 'optimised' sole design for performance for one athlete, which is not so good for another athlete

    I think it is more of a marketing hype... an interesting one ..
    Algorithms = different iterations
