Afternoon all, long time no post. I've taken a short break from podiatry over the last year and have at long last decided to re-register. Due to the fact that I haven't been practicing for over a year now one of the requirements of my renewal is that I show that I have been continually maintaining my skills etc. Just out of curiosity as I'm somewhat unclear on the CPD points accrued on this forum, what number would be sufficient to satisfy the board's requirements? I have now nearly 800 CPD points and was wondering if this would be enough. If I need to show that I have maintained my reading and study over that year off how do I quantify that? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Cheers, Paul.

    Paul,

I would suggest that you contact AHPRA directly regarding the requirements that you need to undertake to re-register.
Regarding the CPD points on Pod Arena. They mean nothing directly re: CPD, but you are allowed to allocate 10 hrs towards Self Directed Learning per year, which Pod Arena would count towards, as long as you record the date/time that you were on this site for Audit purposes.

    Also welcome back :)

As Stephen mentioned the CPD points here do not convert to anything. They merely act as evidence of your activity here. Points are earned for completing your profile; starting threads; replying to thread; participating; logging in etc
