    Hi Everyone,

My name is Josie. I am a 24 year old, female, Australian Podiatrist, currently working in the profession in Australia. I am about to embark upon a 6 month, non practicing working holiday in the UK and then a further 6 months in Canada. The purpose of this post is to send out some feelers, hoping to just connect with any over seas Podiatrists in these regions.

Whilst I will not be doing any Podiatry work over seas, I am still maintaining my current Aussie registration and in order to do that, I need to do 20 hours of continuing professional development. While online platforms are all very well and good, I figure, why not try and engage with professionals in different countries over seas, and learn about my profession in a different culture to further my practice when I return to Australia? This would be a fantastic forum to get in touch with as many over seas Podiatrists as I can, to continue my further professional skill set.

Feel free to post a reply to this thread if you can help out :) I am in the UK (probably London) from September 24th until March 20th 2014, when I fly to Vancouver, Canada.

Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from anyone!

    Josie
