The orthopedic community's transition from PTTD to Progressive Collapsing Foot Deformity —specifically the isolation of Component C (Medial Column Instability and Supination)—is an objective, imaging-based validation of the congenital pathology I published on in 2002 under the name Primus Metatarsus Supinatus (Rothbart’s Foot).

What WBCT is imaging today is the exact multi-segmental, genetic, embryological arrest of the medial column that I mapped out over two decades ago."
