Hi my name is Carol, Thanks for allowing me to join the forum.

I am an FHP working in Norfolk and have been in practice now for 6 years. I am ex-district nurse and ex community nurse manager in the NHS who took early retirement and retrained and love the work. My patients are mostly elderly but I have a few younger customers. My books are always full, I never advertise and almost all my patients are returners. I work in patients own homes but am also lucky in that I have the support of my local GP practice who both ref to me and allow me to rent rooms to enable me to run clinics. I have been attached to the practice for almost 20 years so our mutual respect has grown over time. having worked for the NHS since I was 17yrs old it is wonderful to be my own boss and to care for people in the time frame and in the way I feel they deserve rather than having to fit in with the system!
