I am looking to move to Holland and if anyone has any information about the Podiatry profession there, I would greatly appreciate it. Does anyone have any contact details for their Health Professions Council and podiatry associations?

    Thanks

    Hi Kirsten

We have quite a bit of contact with the Holland schools, and since there is no language barrier, some Belgian colleagues go over the border to work there. The profession of podiatry "podotherapeut" as they call it there is of very good quality.

    good luck

    Hi Kirsten,

    I'm a dutch podiatrist.

The council in Holland is called: NVVP. Podiatry in dutch is: 'podotherapie' it might help to look up things. They are located in a place called Hilversum.

The degree is 4 years and there is two unies where people can go to.

A good person to contact at first would be: Margreet van Putten.

Tell her my name and I referred. She is head of the podiatry regulations. Her e-mail is: m.vanputten@fontys.nl

Contact me if you need anymore help.
