I'm a returning to practice Podiatrist. I have been keeping an eye on the jobs out there. To be honest there doesn't seem to be many in the NHS. Approx about 5-10 new ones a week in the whole of the NHS, so you would need to be flexible about location. Keep an eye on the NHS jobs website. However there does seem to be jobs out there in private companies. Also many people work for themselves in private practice. The scope of practice is huge so there is a wide variety of the type of podiatry to do - you could set up a sports/ biomechanics clinic or do domicilliary work or even go into cosmetic work such as botox. There are quite a lot of options.
