    We are looking for a motivated Podiatrist to join our MDT at Physio Plus NI in Comber.
    Employed and Self employed options available.

    About Us
    Physio Plus is a multi-disciplinary practice based in Comber that has been successfully helping a mixed patient group since 2013. We have an extensive existing Podiatry patient caseload and dedicated Podiatry room available for a keen and caring practitioner. The clinic environment is friendly and dynamic with a varied caseload of Chiropody and Podiatry patients. We offer full reception support within a busy clinic with other professionals. We also have advanced gait scanner technology on site to assist with biomechanical assessments and we are happy to support the development of your biomechanical skills.

    Podiatrist Role
    You will be providing high quality Podiatry assessment, treatment and advice for individuals using a range of equipment to carry out routine treatments such as biomechanical assessments, nail surgery, hard skin and callus removal, toenail cutting and more. You will be a self-employed podiatrist working within the practice

    Podiatrist Responsibilities
    Daily tasks include:
    · Assess and diagnose existing and new conditions in order to provide individually tailored treatment plans;
    · Alter and adapt healthcare management plans based on patient progress and objective symptoms;
    · Maintain up to date training and accurate record keeping;
    · Provide Diabetic assessment and review;
    · Chronic disease and wound care management;
    · General foot care and nail surgery including verruca treatments;
    · A strong emphasis on continuity of care and working in conjunction with the patients to achieve their goals.
    · Biomechanical assessment and prescription of OTS and custom orthotics

    Requirements
    · HCPC and COP registration;
    · BSc Podiatry;
    . Previous experience is desired but not essential;
    · Demonstrate sound clinical skills and knowledge in Podiatric medicine;
    · Passionate about Podiatry and delivering outstanding care;
    · Work alongside Physiotherapists for cross referral and support;
    · Self-starter and capable of working autonomously;
    · Excellent communication and documentation skills;
    · Patience and great customer service skills.
