Senior Public Podiatrist required in beautiful North West Tasmania

    Salary: $83,105-$91,756 per annum, pro rata
    Work type: Fixed-Term, full-time, working 76 hours per fortnight until October 2016

    Who are we looking for?
    We are seeking a motivated and experienced Podiatrist to join the Podiatry/Foot Health team to provide a high standard of podiatric care to patients of the THS-North West Region. The service provides all aspects of Podiatric care specifically management of high risk foot conditions, toenail surgery, biomechanics and treatment of paediatric clients. There is also a strong health promotion component to this work as well as the opportunity to be involved in current research.
    This is a senior position providing podiatry services to community clients, outpatients and inpatients across a broad geographic area. The occupant of this position will be expected to have experience working with high risk feet and will work under general direction from the Manager Podiatry and assist in supervision of level 1-2 Podiatrists, Allied Health Assistants and Podiatry students.

    Desirable Requirements
    Current Drivers Licence

    Essential Requirements
    Registered with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
