Are people not concerned that if the SCP drop the word "chiropodist" then some other organisation will adopt that name, and the public will be even more confused!

I haven't been an SCP member for years so I'm not really sure what has been proposed.

However, as I understand it, the Title "Chiropodist" is Protected by Statute and therefore it doesn't matter if the SCP want to change their name to "The Wheeltappers & Shunters Footworkers Guild" it won't alter the Status of the Title.

What I would really be concerned about, if I was an SCP Member, would be the cost of this latest "re-branding" exercise, and I would want to see some figures on that before I voted on the issue.
