Hi all, just joined because my step-dad is a stubborn old fool lol and won't just go to the doctor/hospital.

About 4-5 weeks ago he got up in the middle of the night and hit his foot on a desk chair, (I'm no doctor but I don't think that this is related to the issue but I figured I'd throw that in there just in case) since then he hasn't been in any pain or discomfort.
