    Hey,

Just wondering if there is anyone who is from the UK or oversees that has recently applied for registration outside of Australia.

The current guidelines state that if you cannot provide evidence of an Australian residency address then you can't get registration until you arrive in Australia and present to an Ahpra office.

How have people managed to get Ahpra registration before leaving the uk?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have hopeful uploaded the document that lists all this info.

    Thanks

    Ella

    Hi Ella
You can only get AHPRA in principle if you are in the UK, once you have this you will need to present in person at one of the AHPRA offices in person. AHPRA have changed how long you get to do this in now, last year you had up to 12 months to present now I think its 1 month or 3 months?? (you can ask for an extension but theses are hard to get). When you present you will need your ID passport and address for OZ, I opened a bank account over here and used my hotel address until I came over.

I've been here for 5 weeks in Brisbane area, I came over on a 190 visa without a job and have had 4 job offers already, I start work next week.

If you need any other tips please email me: alan2206@outlook.com

    always happy to help

I am going through the process of registering now, just submitted my ANZPAC.

Have you completed the International Police Check through fit2work for AHPRA?
