I have a 24 year old patient with flexible pes planus who is keen for an opinion on Sinus Tarsi Implants after reading The Mail. She has not responded to conservative treatment with orthoses. I am unable to find a surgeon local to her home town in Peterborough, Cambs, UK that carries out this operation and others nearby that do are not accepting out of area referrals. Does anyone know any surgeons that are taking out of areas for this procedure that maybe willing to help?

Try Mr Lewis Stuttard Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at the BMI Highfield in Rochdale Greater Manchester, I am aware that he has carried out a good number of these procedures.

    Hello,
Possibly the closest podiatric surgeon to your patient would be Ian Reilly. He's on here if you want to pm him. Alternatively, give your patient his website address to contact him:

Many thanks for your assistance. Unfortunately Ian is not taking out of area referrals at present but will keep Mr Lewis in mind, cheers

Sorry, I missed the part in your first post about out of area referrals - is it an NHS patient?
