  3. Dennis Kiper....Dennis Shavelson......is there a pattern emerging here....??!!

Here's a favorite comment from that thread from Dr. DSW which really makes for a good laugh....

Also regarding his claims of published papers, google scholar produced no hits for Kiper DN....why does that not surprise me...??

I almost stopped reading when I got to this bit at the bottom of the first page:
    Anyone spot the error?

It also reminded me of the thread I started on If A is wrong, how does that prove B? ..... what has trying to discredit what they interpret as 'Root theory' got to do with proving what they are doing is right? If what they are doing is right, then it should stand on its own two feet

Glad I did not stop reading as this article will make an awesome read for students to illustrate the concepts of 'cherry picking' and 'confirmation bias'.

Kevin, have a read of this blog on the Encyclopedia of American Loons - do you think we need a podiatric one?

  5. Encyclopedia of Loons in Podiatry does have a nice ring to it.

  6. I actually believe that incorporating some of this technology into foot orthoses could be really helpful. Shame that this paper is gibberish in places; using words which sound technical like "vector" inappropriately.

And I'd hoped Dennis limped off into oblivion after his last appearance here met with such a thrashing but the bowel of life is never truly voided is it?
