What is the biomechanics version of the 19th hole?

I`m arriving tomorrow evening....I`ll be the one propping up the bar, wearing a red carnation and carrying a copy of yesterdays Times ;)

    Cheers,
    Bel

  7. I'm getting in tomorrow evening too. I'll be the one with the headache, sitting between Ian and Bel and smelling vaguely sweet from the night before.

Looking forward to putting faces to names. (Not you Griff- obviously :morning:, looking forward to you going to the bar:D.)

Have one for me. I don't arrive at Heathrow until 5.30 in the AM and then its straight into it for 6 full days! .... given Qantas's recent track record with engines blowing up and timetable delay's, keep your fingers crossed!

I need to make my apologies - I won't be able to make the course - my son has just had to go into hospital so I have to look after my daughter. Is there a UK organiser for the bootcamp that I can contact to let them know?

  14. Hi Robin hope your son gets better soon,

send a private message to Craig Payne I bet he will check into PA on the way from the airport to see if people are yelling at each other.

    Thanks Mike,

It's a regular occurence in our house over the winter - couple days in hospital on IV antibiotics and some oxygen and he'll be ok hopefully.

I'll send him a PM now. Anyone looking for a last minute(and this really is last minute) cancellation slot?

I'm sure all the attendees who are staying the noght before are all ****** by now so unlikely to read this but hope you all have a good time and sorry I'm not getting the chance to join you for a beer.

    Hey Bel
Hows the head? Good to meet you and Simon.

  18. Thanks to Craig for organising and delivering an "awesome" meeting. It was great to meet with you all.

Yep, a great couple of days....It was both kinda neat and kinda fun ;)

Good to meet a few lurkers too.

    Cheers,
    Bel

  20. So is the lunge test a mesurement of ankle dorsiflexion or Bosjen Mollor's High/Low Gear??? Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon - thanks to Craig for a superb presentation - but the course papers should come with a paracetamol multiple pack!

Now that I've also got over my throbbing head (having been bombarded by so much info, it felt like the Millenium Falcon under attack!) I'd also like to thank Craig for a superb 2 day conference. It was my first time at the boot camp and it was money well spent - would highly recommend it in the future.:D:drinks

PS Simon and Bel - you naughty schoolkids!

  22. Moi? ;)

  23. Any clinician who strives a greater understanding of lower extremity function and dysfunction should pencil one of these Boot Camps into their diary. To paraphrase Craig - it's kinda neat and a lot of fun! Thanks also to Algeos for supporting - and for the curry and wine - much appreciated.

    Cheers again, Craig.

    Hi Mark
Damn. Didn't realise you were there Mark. It would have been great to say hello to you.

  25. Likewise - I was at Manchester. You?

Ah. That explains it. I was at Heathrow. Maybe another time. Do you live around the north then? Rochdale (just up the road from Manchester) is my place of origin and I still go up to see parents etc.

  27. Next time you're in St Annes....

    Mark,

I couldn't agree more; great education, good company and a (not too hot) curry. It was good to meet you!

Many thanks to Craig and Michelle from Algeos.

    Kind regards,

    Dave

P.S. My brain still hurts... But in a good way!

  29. Speak for yourself, mate. I'm still remembering it well.....

I feel inspired by Mr Cash to do better! I will get the practice in for the next time we meet.
