    Hi

I have a patient with plantar fasciitis who is in coban 2 compression bandaging. I suspect that the bandaging has made this worse and was wondering if any one has experience of applying strapping and padding under coban 2 or even modifying the compression bandaging around the foot to put the foot into supination. I work as a wound care podiatrist and also treat venous leg ulcers so I am trained in the use of compression bandaging.

Just to clarify what you are asking. They have compression bandaging for venous reasons and now have developed plantar fasciitis?

Pretty much, they have had plantar fasciitis before.

Does gait alter for this individual when wearing compression bandages? Seems strange, how sure are you of the diagnosis?
