    Hi all,
I just wanted to say hi and thanks to everyone in Podiatry Arena.
I graduated in 2014 but have only now started working in my chosen profession which at times proves stressful as I feel there is so much I don't know and need to know.
It will come with time and experience I'm sure so I am holding tight until then.
I am an eternal student and am always hungry for knowledge!
I aspire to be great at all things in life and I have no doubt that with great effort and dedication this will be a success.

    Thanks again to everyone.

Welcome Sidonia! Love a fellow student of life!

Haha, I get stressed at times thinking about all the things I don't know and I started learning 36 years ago!

Yes, I am sure you will be a success with your thirst for knowledge.

Wishing you some peace and calm as you enjoy your new role!

  3. Hi Heather, Thanks a lot for your encouragement! Stressed is an understatement. ...but as Gloria Gaynor, I will also survive.
I am desperately searching for reading material that is not generalistic. my focus at the moment is on verrucaes and their treatment. specifically times of applications, time between check ups, differentiation and complications. ..not sure if anyone knows if such info exists in print to such detail.
    I'll keep searching though.

    Thanks again!

Haha! Love it! Yes you will survive! and then try THRIVING on as a fit! Search the feeds for Verrucae, there is a wealth of info there. Not sure about the print stuff though!

    Have a great day!

  5. Thanks a million Heather! Much obliged....found some good info right under my nose as well :D

    Hi Sidonia,

Research into HPV is a bit of hobby of mine. The British Association of Dermatologists have produced the attached meta analysis to start with and i would also recommend papers by Ian Fraser, who is a pioneer in discovering how HPV evades host surveillance...https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18986661

    Cheers,
    Bel

  7. Thank you so much Bel, I really appreciate the article and heads up on the recommended papers.
There's quite a lot of info available but it is not always easy to cyphon through to find the most relevant information.

I will definitely be reading this today, thanks!
    Sidonia
