  2. It is stories like these that, unfortunately, are necessary to change the poor treatment methods that often occur in many healthcare systems.

    A sad story indeed but just a note of caution. The Daily Mail is not a serious medical journal; some would argue not even a serious newspaper. It would probably be advantageous to await the outcome of investigations before commenting in detail.
