I´ve had my own problems so decided not to keep my Australia reg going while in Sweden. Hope it does not come back to bite me.

I tried to change to a non practicing reg but that form is not online so then you need to down load a form, get copies of id photos get certain people to sign them, bloody stupid.

anyone else having a pain with the whole process ?

Apparently 10% of Podiatrists in Victoria had not met the deadline to get registered.

I think there were some communication issues with AHPRA. I think next year there will be better success rate.

Even if there is a delay at AHPRA, surely it is the responsibility of the managers to ensure the staff do not work when they are not registered. Also is it not the job of the Pods to chase up AHPRA when you think the registration will not come through in time (like I had too!) AHPRA in their defence were really helpful and rushed it all through in time and couldnt apologise enough.
we have all yeah to make sure its done on time surely apart from exceptional circumstances no one should be working when not registered!
