A colleague recently asked if a Podiatrist's qualifications can work in Malaysia. Does anyone know how to get this information?

My understanding is that UK qualifications might work.

    What about the US qualifications?

wow ... no local 'registration' of ANY kind? for any medical worker? How dos that work?

Curious to know how the practitioner would prescribe as in Rx for meds etc. Or, in the case of the surgeon, obtain surgical privileges.

    Craig,

Appreciate the information. Do you know this to be an absolute fact for the US trained?

    Found this in my searches

    https://www.footdoctorpodiatry.com/about-us

    in which it states that

" According to the Australian law, all Australian graduated podiatrists (except for the state of Queensland) are titled 'Dr' during practice."

I was not aware about this situation - Craig, can you confirm ?
