We`ve had more non-school days here than you can shake a stick at this month, resulting in another tune mastered by Jack (my baby boy). He`s resurrected a 6 year old album from these guys who, like me, originate from East Sussex  pretty, pretty, pretty......petticoat

  9. No concert for me.

Have other projects on my list which will take all my time this summer - like building a carport for home myself. Small type projects

  15. Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven has been named the greatest rock ballad of all time in a new RollingStone.com online poll.

The 1971 classic beat out songs by the Beatles and Rolling Stones to land atop the new list.

In naming the track their number one, publication editors wrote, "If the entire genre of Classic Rock had to be reduced to one song it would probably be Stairway To Heaven. It's been played a squajillion times on the radio since it came out in 1971, and it doesn't show any signs of going away."

    The top five is:

    1. Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin

    2. Something by the Beatles

    3. Wild Horses by Rolling Stones

    4. November Rain by Guns N' Roses

    5. Let it Be by the Beatles.

LED ZEPPELIN : Stairway to Heaven (live)

U2 Bad, U2 Running to Stand Still, U2 Walk On, U2 Where the Streets have No Name, and the precursor to Beautiful Day which is ALWAYS by U2. Much better than Beautiful day if you ask me.

Actually U2 Walk On s not one of my favorites but since this is a podiatry site I thought I should add it. I really like Elvis Presley and America much more by U2.

WAIT! There are actual U2 fans out in the world? The only time i run across them is at U2 dot com....none of my friends like them. I have tickets to 4 shows in the next few weeks and no one wants to go! (Of course coworkers can't all get the time off the same time as me!). If anyone wants a ticket let me know....

    Oh boy. Tough question.
    in no particular order:
    1. The Man WHo Sold the World - David Bowie
    2. SUppers Ready - Genesis
    3. Here Comes the Flood (Milan Live Version) - Peter Gabriel
    4. Still You Turn Me On - Emerson Lake and Palmer
    5. Waiting in the Weeds - The Eagles
    6. Moths - Jethro Tull
    7. Thuderstruck - ACDC
    8. Heat of the Moment - Asia
    9. Highway Star - Deep Purple
    10. Darlin' Be Home Soon - Slade

When was I born! Never mind. Got to sit 20 feet away backstage from Jimmy Page and RObert Plant doing Stairway to Heaven at a concert in 1972 and see Marc Boland and T-Rex live.

One of my favourite ever quotes came from Springsteen. It was something like " I don't want to be rich, not bothered about being successful, I just want to be great"
    And he is
