  4. I thought it started with a Z and was basically a plastic tube but could not think of the name , but I admit I went off to Google to find the name and it says Talk Box.

  5. You may have been thinking of a vocoder, but this is indeed a talk box.

Would love to join in although I can't really be certain what constitutes 'rock'.

As you can possibly tell

    Regards,

    Mandy.

  7. Nice team work you two

  8. What's the name of the funky instrument the Beach Boys used on Good Vibrations?

  9. I have heard of it but would not have got there with out lots of help.

  10. Triva File...

Most expensive Rock album ever made G´n´Roses Chinese Democracy allegedly cost around 15 million us$ to record, but this made be the 2nd most ever spent to record an album. The most 30 Million us$ to Michael Jackson.

G´n´Roses Chinese Democracy may also have taken the longest time to make Axel started producting it about 15 years before the release date, this however may not be the longest as there are reports that Brain Wilson of Beach Boys fame started work with the Beach Boys on the album Smile in 1967 it was eventually released as a Solo album in 2004

ps here what a theremin sounds like. Beach boys good Vibrations live circa 1976

  29. Nice work that man, Except 4 I read a report that PIL are reforming and that one of the bits of info was that PIL had sold more albums go figure.

  30. I've also got leftism as my best dance album ever. What about combined single + album sales?

  31. I´m not sure they just said more successful sales from PIL, but you would have to say that the sex pistols will have sold more singels,I would guess.

  34. Tunes, every one of 'em (motorheads version of bomber that is). I saw motorhead at the Birmingham Odeon when I was 12 on the Ironfist tour. I always preferred Girlschools race with the devil
