I had an acute fracture of the first metatarsal 25 days ago after a heavy electric radiator style heater fell over onto my bare foot. Have been very good about elevating and not bearing weight, and bone is healing well. However, the toes are numb..... any thoughts or similar experiences? Doctor suggests nerve damage from the trauma. Wondering how long before I can expect normal sensation to return.
