    It is interesting technology. There should be at least a few people on this forum that need to read (& take note of the scan) the above article... i.e. ...


    Have had no experience with the technology... but can't help wonder how interesting it would be in assessing the function of orthotics i.e. without orthotics & with orthotic scans... & assessing the shape/correction of devices & its affect on the foot... & desired relationship thereof in treating pathologies. However, with a $340 000 price tag it is far off from being a clinician's tool - but still interesting to have the above research carried out. Maybe one day this type of technology would be more affordable/available for a clinician... to then test his/her digital foot scanned, 3D printed orthotics. The potential of the technology is exciting in this area.
